Niwot Baseball Warehouse Rules & Regulations
Directions to the warehouse
- Only coaches and registered players with completed injury waiver form on file are allowed in the Warehouse during workouts.
- A maximum of 20 players are allowed in the warehouse during workouts.
- Each player and coach must read and sign the Release of Liability waiver form.
- Coaches must be approved by Niwot Baseball inc. prior to participating in workouts at the warehouse.
- A minimum of 1 coach for each 10 players is required. At least 1 coach will be on each side of the warehouse. (Pitching side and hitting side)
- All players must wear CHSAA approved Batting Helmets while in the hitting areas. If they forget their helmet they must either leave the shack or remain out of the hitting area.
- All coaches must wear their skull caps while in the hitting areas.
- Workouts must be scheduled through Niwot Baseball Inc.
- Only coaches will be allowed to throw in the live hitting cage.
- Both doors must be unlocked during any activity.
- All players must immediately evacuate the building if the carbon monoxide alarm sounds.
- All players must immediately evacuate the building if they smell natural gas.
- A designated safety zone is being built that will have chain link fence separating players and coaches from live hit or thrown balls. This area is where all players, actively participating in an activity, will remain unless directed by a coach.
- Any player demonstrating any activity that violates these rules or acts in a way that can be deemed to be dangerous will be asked to leave and before returning must have parents call Coach McBride
- All players must be picked up at their designated time or make arrangements to be picked up.
- No coach shall leave any players at the shack before they have been picked up.
- All players, coaches and parents need to understand that safety is the most important priority while in the shack. Every useable space in the shack has been designated for a particular activity and as a result no unauthorized or fill-in activity is to occur while in the shack.
- Teams are to supply and use own equipment and not use any equipment that belongs to the High School Team.
- Teams will keep warehouse clean and leave in ready to use order for next team in.
