Michael Perry played on 2 State Championship teams while at Niwot. Michael was a DH and back-up catcher his Junior year and started at catcher during his senior season. Michael displayed tremendous knowledge of the game and was a true field general for the Cougars. He was so knowledgeable that Coach Fisher turned the pitch calling duties over to him at times throughout the season. Michael earned All Conference honors after his senior season.

As a Freshman Michael attended Colorado Northwestern Community College where he was re-united with fellow 2005 Graduate Brian Lux. Michael next played at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. Michael also played ball at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
