Niwot Baseball Former Player
Kyle Spencer 2005 Graduate
Kyle Spencer epitomized the term "hard worker" while he was at Niwot.  Kyle
was clocked at a staggering 68 MPH just before his Sophomore season.  After
working as hard as anyone in the program the velocity began to mount up.
During his senior season Kyle hit as high as 86 MPH and just recently hit 89
MPH at Concordia U in a fall game.  While the coaching staff continues to be
proud of the fact that Kyle threw 86 while weighing around 150 pounds there
are bigger things coming for Kyle who is likely to grow during college.

Kyle was slotted in the starting rotation on the 2005 team that went 25-1.  Kyle
held opponents to a .261 batting average and finished 7-1 with a 1.48 ERA.
Kyle attended Concordia University in Nebraska along with fellow Cougars Winslow Taylor and Brian Lux
during the 2006 and 2007 seasons.  Kyle pitched out of the starting rotation both years.

This past summer Kyle helped coach the 2007 Legion B State Champion team along with Mike Owens and
Matt Jensen.

This past fall Kyle transferred to Regis University in Denver, CO.  Kyle hopes to remain a starting pitcher
as he begins playing for the Rangers.
