George Sypher has been in the Niwot Baseball program for the past 4 years and has coached at the JV and Varsity levels. He started working with the Legion C team in 2008, assistant coach in the fall ball program, was an assistant on the J-V team, was the assistant on the Legion B summer team for a couple of years, and has been an assistant on Varsity for the last 2 years.

Before coaching for Niwot High School, George coached at all levels of youth baseball starting his career in 1999. He started coaching in Niwot Youth Sports where he focused on traveling / competitive teams.

George grew up in Connecticut playing baseball from the age of five. He played baseball at Windham High School and Legion Post #19. While serving in the Air Force, George played for the U.S. Military All-Stars which gave him an opportunity to compete against the finest professional, independent and summer collegiate programs in the world.

He has been married to his wife, Mary for 25 years and has 3 children, Ryan (NHS Baseball Player), Brandon, and Sarah.
