David Ross is entering his second year coaching at Niwot High School.
David is the C Team Head Coach, meaning his players are comprised of
Freshman and Sophomores. In addition to coaching baseball, David is also
an assistant boys basketball coach at Niwot.
David is a 1999 graduate of Niwot High School and was a three-sport varsity
letterman, earning all area honors in football, basketball, and baseball.
David was a member of Niwot's 1998 and 1999 baseball state championship
teams. He also was voted Niwot High School's male athlete of the year in
1999.
After graduating from high school, David went on to play football at Trinity
University in San Antonio, Texas. He was an all-conference strong safety
and was a captain on Trinity's national runner-up football team of 2002.

David is currently a sixth grade English teacher at Westview Middle School in Longmont. He is in his second year at
Westview and enjoys the rewards as well as the challenges of working with middle school students.
