Niwot Baseball Former Player
Danny Bote 2000 Graduate
While not many players would be able to live up the expectations of being
the son of a Father who has become a baseball icon in the Niwot area
Danny was able to do just that.  During Danny's years at Niwot he helped
lead the Cougars to 3 straight State Championships.  While Danny was
considered one of the best pitchers in his class the decision was made
early on that he would play shortstop and not pitch.  The class wound up
with 3 pitchers breaking the 90 MPH barrier.  While Bote went on to
become hands down the best shortstop in Colorado.

Bote was named All-Conference, All-County, and All-State.  After High
School Danny went to Liberty University.  Danny mostly played 2nd base
and an arm injury may have been the only thing that kept him from getting
drafted.
Danny spent a couple years as the Recreation Director at Woodlands Baptist Church and coaching with the
Manatee Heat.

Danny has now moved back to Colorado and is helping his dad coach at Erie High School.
