The 2012 voluntary winter workouts for the Niwot Baseball Team will be held at the Niwot Baseball Warehouse (directions) and Niwot High School Weightlifting Facility. We will be working out in January and February.

The focus of these workouts is to get players ready for the 2012 baseball season. We will be working offensive skill and defensive skills along with team skills. We will be utilizing video recording and radar guns during the workouts so we can give visual feed back to the players.

We strongly suggest that players take advantage of these workouts. We have seen great success with players that have taken advantage of these workouts.

On August 28, 2011 Skyline Junior Tyler Hoog was in a serious off-road accident. Tyler's injuries have left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Tyler's father Mike Hoog is the Skyline baseball head coach and former Niwot Cougar baseball player. Tyler's recovery and rehab will be a long difficult process and he needs support and love from the entire Niwot baseball family.

The Niwot Legion B team is playing in the Championship Game of the Kleppinger Baseball Tournament in Laramie, WY, Sunday at 3:30pm.

Friday and Saturday the Cougars outscored their opponents 44 - 1!
